We Connect.

We partner with vulnerable and regional populations to deliver on-the-ground growing projects — all built around the power and possibility of mushrooms. We Connect helps people grow food, skills, and meaningful connections.

Why mushrooms? Because they’re nutritious, regenerative, fast-growing, and low-risk. They don’t require land ownership, expensive inputs, or long wait times. Within weeks, you can harvest fresh food or market-ready product, build confidence, purpose, and pride.

For individuals and communities facing isolation, disadvantage or disconnection, mushrooms are more than food or medicine— they're a gateway to a better way of life.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Practical Skills & Knowledge: Hands-on, culturally-informed mushroom cultivation programs, co-designed with local stakeholders and Elders

  • Health & Wellbeing: growing highly nutritious, organic food and medicinal products that improve wellbeing

  • Empowerment & Income: low-barrier micro-enterprise training and connections to markets

  • Belonging & Purpose: workshops that reduce social isolation, provide purpose, and bring people together

We especially support Indigenous communities, rural youth, and people experiencing disadvantage — people with untapped potential who, when given the right tools and support, can grow food, income, and connection.

Our vision is to create a network of regional micro-growers, supported with tools, training, and logistics so they can distribute their goods and keep profits in their own communities.

This is more than education — it’s economic activation, community revitalisation, and regenerative empowerment — all rooted in place and scaled through the humble, transformative power of fungi.
